Every once in a while I have clients who have tried to save web pages to Worldox. This doesn’t work. You can easily download PDF’s or other documents, but not web pages.
The reason is simple: a web page is not a single document. It is made up of many different documents, usually around a dozen to 20 or so. These include *.css (cascading style sheet), *.js (java script), *.gif (images - each image on a web page is a separate little document) and *.html documents (the base background of the page). Worldox cannot manage all these documents simultaneously.
What happens is that when you call up the documents for a given matter, say, you see the 15-20 individual documents that make up the web page. The clutter is massively intrusive and removing them is very annoying.
So do a screen capture if you need to, use a “download as PDF” option if there is one. But do NOT try to download a web page itself.
